Born in Romania and raised in Spain, Liliana pursued higher education at Heidelberg University in Germany, where she earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Translation and Interpretation Sciences. Her career began with a brief tenure as a conference interpreter at the European Union, utilizing eight languages, four active and four passive. Following this, she worked at the Instituto Cervantes in Chicago and then spent five years as a multilingual certified healthcare interpreter at a hospital in Saint Augustine, Florida. Interpreting has been integral to her life since childhood, fueling her passion for ensuring language access as a human right. At CCC, Liliana focuses on curriculum development, leveraging both her experience as a hospital staff interpreter and freelance interpreter. She is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities, strengthening and celebrating the foundations of our diverse society.
