Toca Murakami has worked as a Japanese interpreter for over 20 years in the Greater San Diego, CA area. Toca received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from San Diego State University as well as master’s degree without completion of the dissertation. Toca is a Certified Health Care interpreter through the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI). She has obtained Certificate of Teaching English to Speakers of Other/Second/Foreign Languages (TESOL/TEFL) and works as a freelancer.
Before relocating to the US, she owned her own private tutoring school in Japan. Toca is very compassionate and altruistic enough to reach out to those who are in need. Not only does she love to support people, but she is also passionate to raise more and more professional community interpreters who will also support their own clients. It is the ripple effect to bring peace to our community!
