Sofía is an independent consultant in the field of cross cultural communication, specializing in interpretation services, interpreter training, and policy in the field of language access. Her triple specialization as a professional interpreter, educator, and public policy analyst (PhD) brings a unique perspective to a field of growing international relevance. Sofía is a published author and interprets in English, Spanish, French, and Catalan. She serves as an expert in leading task forces in the industry, including Spain’s committee for the International Standardization Organization (ISO) and professional and governmental organizations in Washington State.
