Profile

Lorena Pike is a seasoned Medical, Conference, Community, and Legal/Court interpreter and translator with a rich background in the field. Certified by the Judicial Council of California and the Nevada Administrative Office of the Courts, she brings a high level of expertise to every interpretation and translation project. In addition to her interpreting and translating credentials, Lorena is an accomplished educator and trainer, serving as The Community Interpreter International Trainer. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Translation and Latin American Culture from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Escuela Bancaria Comercial in Mexico City. Lorena has also played a pivotal role in developing translation and interpreting curricula for Santa Barbara City College and UCSB. She continues to contribute to the field as an instructor for the legal interpreting program at UCLA Extension and the translation program at UCSD Extended Studies.
