I enjoy teaching and bring very broad understanding as an Interpreter,Business Faculty at NHCC with 12 years of teaching experience, and a qualified national TCI trainer who since 2012 have trained more than 320 interpreters in Minnesota.
I am a member of the National MBA Association, UMTIA Interpreters Association and as the manager of Multilingual Word Inc.since 2010. I manage over 2000 interpreters who speak more than 200 languages in Minneapolis.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Management from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and a BSc. in Economics from University of Sierra Leone.
Born and raised in Liberia,I fled our civil war and learned Krio/Creole to survive while perusing my BSc. degree in Sierra Leone.
As a firm believer in intellectual capacity development, My family moved to Minnesota 18 years ago. I taught Business and Accounting courses at MSB Globe college and Brown College 2005 to 2014. And joined North Hennepin Community College family since 2014.
From interpreter to manager. With over eight years of financial industry experience with US Bank, I signed up with MLW in 2009 as a Mandingo interpreter and then became the Manager.
