Angela Monterroso is a seasoned interpreter, educator, and licensed trainer with over 15 years of experience in medical, mental health, and community interpreting. She has taught Interpretation, Translation, and Spanish language courses at the University of Nebraska at Kearney for more than a decade, preparing students to serve in multilingual environments across the U.S. and abroad.
Angela is a licensed trainer through Cross-Cultural Communications, certified to teach The Community Interpreter International, Medical Terminology for Interpreters, and The Medical Interpreter. She is also an active member of the American Translators Association (ATA) and currently serves as Secretary on the Board of the Nebraska Association for Translators & Interpreters (NATI).
