Danielle Meder

Danielle Meder is a nationally certified American Sign Language interpreter with over 15 years in the interpreting industry; she is also a licensed trainer of The Community Interpreter©International. In 2017, Danielle completed the Certificate in Healthcare Interpreting program at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. She has lived and worked all over the country and has spent much of her career in remote positions as a health care interpreter and operations leader with large language access companies.

Danielle serves on the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care’s Board of Directors as well as a member of the Policy, Education, and Research committees. She regularly presents at national and international events as well as conducts webinars and training for both spoken and sign language interpreters. Danielle is fiercely committed to equitable language access, the communicative autonomy of all, and the advancement of the interpreting profession.
